A recruitment path defines the steps an application goes through during the recruitment process. This guide explains how to create, edit and delete paths, and how to manage their languages.

Creating a new recruitment path

  1. Open Organization Settings → Templates → Recruitment paths.

  2. Select + New recruitment path.

  3. Give the path a name. The name is visible only to recruiters, not to applicants.

  4. Select the language or languages the step names are needed in.

  5. Add processing steps in between with the + button and name them.

  6. Reorder the steps by dragging, if needed.

  7. Select Save.

The path always starts with New and ends with Selected and Not selected. These locked statuses can be renamed, but not removed. The path must have at least one processing step.

If saving fails, check that the path name and every step name are filled in for all selected languages.

Editing a recruitment path

  1. Open Organization Settings → Templates → Recruitment paths.

  2. Select the name of the path you want to edit in the list.

  3. Make the changes you need.

  4. Select Save.

Renaming a step applies everywhere the step is used. If you edit a path already used by recruitments, the changes apply only to new recruitments – recruitments already in progress keep the path unchanged.

The Laura default path (Basic recruitment) cannot be edited or deleted.

Deleting a recruitment path

  1. Open the three-dot menu next to the path you want to delete.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. Confirm the deletion.

A deleted path is no longer selectable for new recruitments. Recruitments already using it keep it unchanged.

Recruitment path languages

You can make a recruitment path multilingual, for example in Finnish, Swedish and English.

  1. Select Edit languages.

  2. Select the languages the path's name and steps are needed in.

  3. Write the path's and steps' names in each language you selected. Switch between languages using the language chips.

  4. Select Save.

Note: the recruitment path cannot be saved if the name is missing for any of the selected languages.
