Use Copy application to put a candidate's existing application into a different, active recruitment. The original application is left exactly as it was.
Steps
Open the application you want to copy.
Click the menu (three dots) at the top of the applicant card and choose Copy application.
In the dialog, pick the target recruitment from the searchable list. Each option shows its locations and application deadline so you can tell apart recruitments with similar titles.
If the candidate already has an application in the recruitment you picked, a notice tells you the copy isn't possible pick a different target.
Tick the confirmation checkbox stating the candidate has given permission for their application to be copied into this recruitment.
Click Copy and notify the candidate.
What transfers and what doesn't
The copy is a brand-new application in the target recruitment. The original is never modified.

If the target recruitment's form doesn't include a question the candidate answered originally, that answer is simply left out of the copy.
What happens next
The candidate is automatically notified by email and a message in their application portal, with a direct link to review and complete the new application.
The new application starts in the target recruitment's normal status flow, as if the candidate had applied there directly.
The copy action, and the confirmation you gave, are both recorded on the audit trail against the original application.

Good to know:
You can only copy into a recruitment that is active (not archived) and doesn't already have an application from this candidate.
Copying requires you to confirm the candidate has given permission for this specific move. This is a mandatory checkbox to comply with GDPR compliance. It's recorded against the copy for audit purposes.
